After 90 days of inactivity, the outlook is not good. If someone goes three months without purchasing, the odds of them returning to purchase are not great. Though, this is definitely dependent upon your store and industry. Some stores simply have a long sales cycle. Just be aware that you will probably start experiencing diminishing returns at 90 days.
Within 24 hours you’ll then receive a personal email from yours truly, with your very own click tracking link. (We use ClickMagick and MCBP as they are the industry's leading click tracking platforms). You can then watch as your clicks come in with highly detailed statistics such as geographic location, I.P. address, device type, browser type plus lots more detailed information.
One type of transaction email that’s essential for any online store is cart abandonment emails. These are the emails that you send out when potential customers add items to their online shopping cart, but don’t follow through on a purchase. These could provide an opportunity to increase your potential profits since approximately two-thirds of shopping cart transactions are abandoned.

Generates Less Concurrent Buzz: With dedicated sends to your entire email database, you can generate a lot of buzz around your brand. There is an explosion of engagement resulting from the simultaneous forwarding and social media sharing (especially if you have Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook sharing links in your email). Lead nurturing cannot quite achieve the same buzz effect because it is programmed to schedule fewer emails to segmented audiences. So while there will still be sharing, you won’t see a huge spike in traffic and conversions on a specific day. Rather, the visits and leads will trickle in.
After you learn how to send bulk emails, your clients will be more informed, which instills loyalty. Follow the best mass emailing practices to ensure your messages reach your recipients. Since Atomic Mail Sender is a program created to distribute emails, you need an SMTP server to send your mail. Our email sending software supports an unlimited number of SMTP servers and has flexible settings that help your messages get delivered.
A less obtrusive method, yet similar in idea, is a lead generation form box triggered by a scrolling action. These can be useful, as they slide into view when a user reaches the bottom of a page. If a page visitor reads to the bottom of your webpage page, they have most likely enjoyed your content. Placing a timed call to action on the bottom of the page can capitalize on a visitor’s interest – meaning the visitor will want to sign up for more similar content.
A common example of permission marketing is a newsletter sent to an advertising firm's customers. Such newsletters inform customers of upcoming events or promotions, or new products.[12] In this type of advertising, a company that wants to send a newsletter to their customers may ask them at the point of purchase if they would like to receive the newsletter.

P.S. If you’re saying YES, you want to grow your traffic exponentially, you want to make your promotions more targeted and successful, you’re tired of scraping by and dream of putting more money in your pocket, you’re looking for that breakthrough marketing “edge” that’ll jumpstart your profits – then what are you waiting for? Blogging can be done in three different ways, the first one being of course on your own website. Blog consistently and try to publish new posts on the same days. This way your audience gets to know your schedule and know when to return for fresh content. Traffic to your blog, however, is not the only thing, you need to convert those readers. Your readers are interested in the thing you write about, but they are most likely not on your email list yet. Try adding relevant call-to-actions to your blog posts!
Content works for us as a lead generation strategy, for a few very specific reasons. If you’re going all in on using content marketing as a primary lead generation tactic, you’ll need to put just as much time to content promotion as you will to the actual creation of it—because if none of your prospects every see your content, it’s not doing anything for your business.

Before you officially open your doors to paying customers, set up a basic landing page on your domain that invites visitors to stay informed by entering their email address. Don’t beg—write copy that describes what’s exciting about your upcoming product and offer strong incentives for early adopters where it makes sense (e.g., early-bird customers get 20% off on launch day).

Next to guest blogging yourself on different sites, try inviting one of your audience influencers to write a guest blog on your site. Just like you guest blogging on another site, you can give them a backlink and a platform to increase their audience. If you really want a famous person on your site, you might even consider paying her or him for writing a guest post. The goal is that you get a quality article and most likely the influencer will share it with their audience.

Instead, consider aiming for “green light benchmarks,” a concept created by Ramit Sethi. Once you’ve reached a certain threshold, you can give yourself the “green light” to move on to something else for a bit—there are always bigger fish to fry when growing a business. Sanocki recommends the following benchmarks for most of your promotional and lifecycle email campaigns:
Historically, it has been difficult to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns because target markets cannot be adequately defined. Email marketing carries the benefit of allowing marketers to identify returns on investment and measure and improve efficiency.[citation needed] Email marketing allows marketers to see feedback from users in real time, and to monitor how effective their campaign is in achieving market penetration, revealing a communication channel's scope. At the same time, however, it also means that the more personal nature of certain advertising methods, such as television advertisements, cannot be captured.
All this time spent not focusing on your business is lost revenue, and a lost opportunity to connect with your customers on a personal level. One of the most significant advantages of email marketing for small businesses is the efficient use of time and budget. Designing a professional email marketing campaign is not complicated, or time-consuming. Sending emails to many subscribers is also still cost-effective.
Everyone loves a compelling story, so if you can find a notable one from a staff member, customer, or even your own business and life, consider using it as a topic for a newsletter. Maybe a customer used your fitness products to lose 50 pounds, or you could share what originally inspired you to start your business. Whatever the story is about, it should be both interesting and relevant to your brand.
Email provides the benefit of unlimited space for content. Unlike many social media platforms, you are not limited by character limits or the types of media that you can share with your recipients. Attention spans are short, so it is an email marketing best practice keep the message to the point, but the choice is yours as to how long or short the message might be for each email. Make content easy to scan at a glance and get the main message, but also give readers the option for more information if they want.
Your competitors are getting links to their sites on industry sites, blogs, and listings. These backlinks add value to their site for search engines and can also be sources for new leads to find out about them. Find out which sites are giving them backlinks with a free search on MOZ Site Explorer. You’ll see who’s linking to their sites so you can target the same ones for your own backlinks and comments.
One of the greatest advantages of email marketing is that it allows marketers to send targeted messages. Print, radio and television ads are broadcast indiscriminately and frequently reach consumers who have no interest in the product offered. But email marketing allows companies to tailor certain ads to certain customers. If a customer has shopped for a brand of shoes in the past, companies can email them coupons for that same brand knowing that they have already expressed an interest.
In your lead nurturing emails, it's important to call out why recipients are receiving the email. For example, you could say something like, "We noticed you're into [topic x] since you downloaded our [Topic X] ebook, and we thought you might want to learn more about [topic x] ..." Once you've addressed why recipients are getting email from you, you can format your lead nurturing emails similar to the way you'd set up your general marketing offer emails.
Since the Internet knows no borders, it is clear that your email campaign can reach anyone in the world, if targeted correctly. If your business has tendencies to operate around the world, this is the perfect tool. Besides, who in the world would not like to expand their business worldwide, if they have the chance to do it? If you are using platform like WordPress, there are many Email marketing plugins out there, which  will help you to capture Emails from your readers quickly and smart ways.
Get your traffic now!
Do you maintain a business blog for your company? Are you a magazine or media outlet? No matter which of these categories you fall into, many companies choose to send a roundup of stories or articles published weekly or monthly. And if you truly want people to read these email roundups, it's critical that you share them in a visually appealing way.
Email can accommodate almost any message a marketer wants to send. For instance, UrbanDaddy.com, a nightlife website, ran a highly successful email marketing campaign by including large, eye catching images in the header of the email. The images were geared toward a young male demographic and gave the email context. They encouraged the reader to scroll down and engage with the sales messages contained in the body of the email. Your customers have signed up for your marketing newsletters because they want to hear from you. They like the content you send and keeping them engaged is one of the biggest wins for any email marketer. Your content is one of your most valuable marketing tools and you can use it to build other areas of your marketing strategy. If people love what you do, then they will sign up to see more great content.
Anniversary Emails — Celebrating a subscriber’s anniversary for joining your email list is another excellent opportunity for keeping your company top of mind and encouraging sales. On average, anniversary emails generated almost seven times more revenue compared to bulk mailings to the same customers in a study by Experian CheetahMail. See FulcrumTech’s review of a recent anniversary email sent by drugstore.com for an outstanding example of this type of email.
According to research from Clutch, newsletters are the most popular type of email, with 83 percent of companies sending them. These emails are typically sent on a consistent schedule (weekday mornings tend to be the most popular with brands) and will often contain either content from the company blog or website, links curated from other sources, or both. A newsletter might also contain upcoming events or webinars, news from your company, or other updates. Whether you create or curate your newsletter content, it should first and foremost be relevant and valuable to your audience.
Customer's Choice:   Non-Incentivized:  Our Most Responsive and Re-ordered Solo Ad.  Your Solo Ad is sent out to 10,000 of our most responsive customers.  Your email will be sent out to our viewers who have want to receive emails for various services, products or business opportunities.  Your solo ad is delivered to the recipients contact email address.  We have had customers report over 20 new signups and/or sales from one Solo Ad!

“I recently had some white space in a newsletter I couldn’t get rid of. So I called customer support and they explained the image needed to be resized and the issue was cleared up immediately. A great thing about Constant Contact is if you’re having a problem, you can just pick up the phone and someone will solve your problem in a matter of minutes.”
The world of promotional emails is changing as consumers become more leary of this type of email content. The world continues to grow in technology and available information, and consumers are being made more aware of when messages are overly promotional. The task then is to offer a good mix of engaging emails (how-to content, informational content, etc.) and promotions.

Email marketing campaigns are widely used to drive sales; however, well-written emails can also be a powerful tool in improving brand loyalty and expanding business. Most email marketing and marketing automation platforms offer a wide array of templates and drip campaign functions that create a multitude of marketing opportunities. A brief review of short term and long term marketing objectives should point you in the direction of one or more of the following six email marketing strategies:

Companies considering the use of an email marketing program must make sure that their program does not violate spam laws such as the United States' Controlling the Assault of Non-Solicited Pornography and Marketing Act (CAN-SPAM),[10] the European Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, or their Internet service provider's acceptable use policy.
Design: With newsletters, the layout becomes a much more complicated task than it is with dedicated email sends. You’ll have to spend some time deciding on the right placement of images and text, alignment and prioritization of information. Thankfully, there are a bunch of websites out there to help you with these efforts. MailChimp, for instance, offers a package of 36 basic, flexible templates you can use to get started.
According to research from Clutch, newsletters are the most popular type of email, with 83 percent of companies sending them. These emails are typically sent on a consistent schedule (weekday mornings tend to be the most popular with brands) and will often contain either content from the company blog or website, links curated from other sources, or both.
eROI’s monthly newsletter is a stellar example on so many levels. The first few paragraphs includes an entertaining introduction to the topic of the newsletter. Then, they include four “insider tips”, which include “read more” buttons to the blog post on their site. But the best part of this newsletter is the interactive element at the bottom: they used working radio buttons to allow subscribers to vote for next month’s theme! How cool is that?
High CTR: Recipients anticipate transactional emails because they help them complete an action. That is why they open them and click on them. Take advantage of this dynamic and include a highly customized call-to-action (maybe even as a P.S.) to leverage the fact that the subscriber is fresh and very actively engaged with your email communication. A 2008 Jupiter research showed that marketing content in transactional messages helped increased revenue and brand recognition.

Live chat is a great way to engage your customers when they get to your website, guide them, answer questions, and understand their specific needs. A recent study by Forrester shows that 44% of online customers consider live chat as one of the most important features a website should have. Today’s generation expects a quicker response, faster resolution, and exceptional customer service.
A Solo Ad Is An Advertising Method (An Email List Rental) Where The Buyer (You) Purchases A Solo Ad From A Solo Ad Provider. The Solo Ad Provider Sends His Email Subscribers Or A Segment Of His Emails Subscribers A Targeted Email With The Buyers Website / Affiliate / Offer Link In Exchange For Compensation. Typically Solo Ads Are Purchased By Unique Clicks. Solo Ads Are One Of The Fastest Advertising Methods To Drive Targeted To An Offer.

Since I work in the politics and advocacy, I have a lot of customers reaching out to me looking for business lead generation ideas and ways to connect with elected officials, mostly when Facebook, Twitter, and email, all prove ineffective for them. And it’s always the same reason; because all these channels are easily glanced over or ignored. But, writing a letter or calling them up and having a real conversation; that’s difficult to ignore and that’s what always works best.
Sometimes the relationship results in a strategic announcement; other times it's as simple as a joint webinar. Let's use the latter for an example of how co-marketing emails work, and why they're so beneficial: Let's say you and another company decide to do a webinar together on a particular subject. As a result, that webinar will likely (pending your arrangements) be promoted to the email lists of both of your companies. This exposure to a list that is not your own is one of the key benefits of co-marketing partnerships.
As we move further into digital transformation, businesses are realizing that this world no longer belongs to marketers, but to consumers—the people who choose what to click on and what to ignore, with the ability to actively avoid advertisements they don’t want to see. While this complicates the strategy marketers use to cultivate interest, there’s still great potential in consumer-focused lead generation ideas.
Another thing you could do is partner with another company to create an asset and share the leads with each other. Klientboost, a PPC agency, did this when they were trying to grow their sales leads. They partnered with the company Invoca, a call-tracking company, as a way to get in front of their target audience. This was one of the main ways that Klientboost grew their revenue from $0-1M in a year.
Email marketing doesn’t necessarily require a huge team or reams of technical nous in order to be successful. It’s certainly possible to jazz up an email campaign with fancy templates, videos, images and logos. Yet, some of the most successful campaigns utilise simple plain text emails, suggesting that it’s the content of an email that is the most important thing.
Undelivered emails - poorly designed emails may not get delivered. Emails that use certain spam keywords in the subject heading or content of the email are likely to be filtered out by email software and internet service providers. If you don’t keep your marketing lists up to date, you will find incorrect email addresses mean your messages won’t reach the right person.

So, you’ve already taken that first critical step toward getting your email marketing program off the ground by building your contact list, and now you need to send your subscribers…something. But what should that something be? If you’re struggling to figure out what to send or how to keep your customers engaged, rest easy — we’ve highlighted nine emails your business should send on a regular basis, along with a few tips on creating them. We’ll also tell you, on a scale of 1 to 5, the difficulty level for each email. The closer the number is to 5, the more effort it takes.

Companies often can hire affiliates to convert leads and boost their promotional program. Affiliates can easily bring improved sales numbers too, but if the plan is well targeted. Additionally, the member strategy is a very inexpensive program, as the scheme works on the commission basis. The scheme also prompts the affiliates to work effectively to promote your brand and bring you the leads—as performance only can provide them with their remuneration. It is a win-win situation for the companies.
