Out of all the channels I tested as a marketer, email continually outperforms most of them. Not only does it have a high conversion rate, but as you build up your list, you can continually monetize it by pitching multiple products. Just look at ecommerce sites like Amazon: One way they get you to continually buy more products from them is by emailing you offers on a regular basis.

It's Timely: Study after study shows that email response rates decline over the age of the lead. In his Science of Timing research Dan Zarrella, HubSpot’s Social Media Scientist, discovered that there is a positive correlation between subscriber recency and CTR, one of the key metrics of engagement. You need to use lead nurturing campaigns to take advantage of this dynamic.

5. The conference Cliffs Notes: Attending an industry conference or another big event that your audience might be interested in (but unable to attend)? Take detailed notes and create a document sharing what you’ve learned. Then, build a simple landing page to make it available for download and post a link in any industry groups or forums you’re a part of.
When the United States Postal Service created a nationwide postal network in the 1840s, mail became an important tool for marketing. Connecting with people through their mailboxes allowed businesses to offer customized marketing messages to specific segments of the customer base. It is likely that much of the mail you now receive contains some kind of marketing message. Catalogs, brochures, coupons and political appeals all pour through the postal service on a daily basis. According to data from Omnisend, welcome emails have an average open rate of 45%. Though the data varies, first purchase automation generally produces 3-6 times more sales compared to a regular promotional email. In addition, though a series of welcome emails may perform better than a single send, engagement drops off after the first email in the series.
Email marketing doesn’t necessarily require a huge team or reams of technical nous in order to be successful. It’s certainly possible to jazz up an email campaign with fancy templates, videos, images and logos. Yet, some of the most successful campaigns utilise simple plain text emails, suggesting that it’s the content of an email that is the most important thing.

With the Internet spreading its wings so rapidly over the years, it is only a matter of time before everyone in the world is connected. It has become the main medium for carrying information and it has surpassed its competition in more than one way. It is only natural that, for this reason, many businesses (mostly successful ones) have decided to replace the promotion and marketing over the physical mediums (such as TV and radio) for various types of online promotion.
In order to sell, you need to convert and the key to email conversions is to nurture them using content. Like #2 above, the key lies in email list segmentation however, it helps to know what type of  content to use at each stage of the sales process. Once you nail that, your nurturing efforts will be much more effective and, your overall conversion rates will increase.
Survey findings from The Alternative Board (TAB) on B2B sales revealed that 64% of business owners prefer personal trial and error when making a purchase. B2B companies can increase the leads coming from their website by offering a demo or trial version of their service. The best way to set this up is with several calls to action (CTAs) throughout the site that lead to a landing page offering the free demo/trial.

An open rate is a percentage that tells you how many successfully delivered emails in a campaigns were opened by subscribers. A standard open rate is 20%-30%. You will notice your open rate is usually higher when you’re first starting out. Your subject line plays a big role in your open rate, too—the more compelling the subject line, the higher the open rate.
Email marketing is an important marketing tool for any small business. Let’s get that on the table up front. Although it may not be as glamorous as social media marketing platforms like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or Instagram, it has proven to be more effective for delivering conversions and higher ROI. When small businesses are looking for a cost effective, shareable, measurable form of marketing, the benefits of email marketing place it right at the top of the list.
Now open a new browser tab and log into your Gmail account. Click Compose to open a new message. Type a title in the subject field and compose the body of your message. Then type $%headername% anywhere you want to insert column data from your spreadsheet. For example, type Dear $%First Name% if you want each email to use the recipient’s first name in the greeting. Once you’re done, click X to close the message, and it will automatically save to your Drafts folder.
Sometimes the relationship results in a strategic announcement; other times it's as simple as a joint webinar. Let's use the latter for an example of how co-marketing emails work, and why they're so beneficial: Let's say you and another company decide to do a webinar together on a particular subject. As a result, that webinar will likely (pending your arrangements) be promoted to the email lists of both of your companies. This exposure to a list that is not your own is one of the key benefits of co-marketing partnerships.
Hi, I recently got a job as a summer intern at a purchasing group and found this very useful for sending out emails to multiple vendors without showing the email of every vendor I send it to in the "To" field. Problem is, I have ~4500 vendors I need to send emails to and this method seems to require the recipients to be in your contacts. I've had to look up emails for many of these companies and the rest were in a database and I don't want to have to add all the companies as contacts.
An eBook acts as a great incentive to get people to sign-up and provide you with their contact details and other useful information that you previously would not have access to. For instance, you could ask them to describe their biggest pain point and provide their mobile phone number in addition to their name and email address. Remember, website visitors are only willing to give up so much information, so the better the value offer, the more information they will give.
From here, you can do two things — either fill in the data manually, or import information from your Google Contacts. If you're using Google Contacts, make sure you have your group of contacts ready and then in your spreadsheet, select Add-ons > Mail Merge and Scheduler > Import Google Contacts. Select the group you want and the information will automatically be added in the spreadsheet.
