Determining how often to reach out to subscribers and with which style of campaign can be time-consuming. Setting up the appropriate framework initially will save time and expense later. Well-built email marketing campaigns can be adjusted based on response rate, while poorly structured initiatives require complete reorganization. Take the time to evaluate your business goals and start small. Work on one strategy and build your knowledge base from there. With Pay-per-Click (PPC ) ads you pay for each click on your ad which is displayed on a search engine such as Google, Yahoo, or Bing, or on a website. For PPC on search engines, your ads show up as sponsored results on the top and side of the organic search terms. PPC ads are a terrific way to draw attention to your latest content or service offerings. They are also highly targeted so they can generate very high quality leads.  Advertisers bid on keyword phrases relevant to their target markets and your ads will display when a keyword query matches your chosen keyword list.
Another one of the unique benefits of email marketing is that email provides a more versatile channel for communicating with your customers. Not only are you able to send text and images over email, but you can also include video, attachments, and links to relevant content. For example, if your business has created some content assets that you’d like to share with your email list like a how-to video or an informational e-book, you can link to or embed video into your email message and attach any additional content assets or link to a landing page that allows customers to download the e-book.

Every now and then, you may want to send a dedicated email to a certain group of people. With email marketing, you are not limited to one format, content type, or frequency. You can send a monthly newsletter, sprinkle coupon sends in between, or provide updates on a major event you are planning. Transactional emails are the messages that get triggered by a specific action your contacts have taken and enable them to complete that action. For instance, if you are signing up for a webinar, you will fill out a form and then receive a transactional (thank-you) email, which gives you login information in order to join. If you are using a double opt-in, people will receive an email asking them to click on a link in order to confirm their registration.
